San Jose Barber Shop saved by entrepreneur from Vietnam
Updated: Jan 31, 2019
When Christine came to San Jose 30 years ago from Vietnam, her family was thankful for the opportunity to be a part of their family that came a few years prior. She had to learn English and eventually a trade. Christine went to Barber school and has since been a barber for men only. The opportunity came to purchase a Barber shop on Bascom that was part of the community for 40 years. Her entrepreneurial mindset knew she could do it, but how? Christine needed some coaching and funding. Our board Advocates were available to guide Christine toward her dream business. EDC is now happy to be customer of our client.
