The Economic Development Collective began as an idea shared by people with different perspectives on a common challenge: Connecting industry and business with educational programs toward great jobs and careers in order to build a sustainable local ecosystem.
What We Believe
At the Economic Development Collaborative (EDC), we believe that access to meaningful career and entrepreneurial exploration and development is a fundamental matter of social and economic justice. EDC was founded on the belief that collaboration can connect people of all ages to meaningful careers and entrepreneurial ventures. Every person deserves the opportunity to discover and pursue fulfilling career paths, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our Reasons for action are simple.
We’ve been at this since 2019, during good economic times and bad. Our community partners in education and industry have allowed us to grow into a leading career-education resource for students, colleges and industry.
